Only a few days left!

Came home from an amazing few days in Champaign today. Wow is all I can say about it. Saying goodbye made me realize what amazing friends I have made at Illinois and helped me recognize how lucky I am to have so many great people in my life!

It still hasn't hit me that I leave on Tuesday. My room is just as messy as it was a week ago, I still have nothing packed, I still have a list of things to buy, and I still have a bunch of people from home I need to say bye to -- I hope I manage to get it all done in time!

Tomorrow Karen and Anna will come over for a sort of 'Bon Voyage' gathering. I remember when we hadn't even applied to our programs yet, I remember asking them questions about the application and them me, I remember texting them every single day to see if they had heard anything yet, and I remember calling them way late at night to let them know that I was accepted. Can't wait to all be in Europe together at the same time, and am soooo excited for when we will travel together at the end!

I just can't wait to get there. I know this is going to be the experience of a lifetime, and I am sooooo ready for some amazing adventures!
